The famed wines of the Côte de Nuits, Côte de Beaune, Côte Chalonnaise, Maconnais, Chablis and Beaujolais

Day 1

· We will meet you at Dijon train station or airport and escort you to our hotel, the beautiful Hostellerie de Levernois near the quintessential Burgundy town of Beaune.
· Time to relax in the hotel grounds.
· Pre-dinner wine-tasting with your own wine expert and the hotel’s sommelier.
· Dinner at the hotel’s Michelin-starred restaurant with superb local cuisine and great Burgundies.

Day 2

· After breakfast, we go to the Domaine du Colombier for a private tasting of their incredible Chablis Grand Cru.
· We take lunch in the town of Chablis itself in the Michelin-starred Hostellerie des Clos.
· Our afternoon tasting takes us to Domaine Vocoret et Fils for another example of superb Chablis Grand Cru.
· Return to the hotel to relax before a dinner matching the types of wines we’ve tasted with the best in Burgundy fare.

Day 3

· A short drive after breakfast to taste the Chambertin at Domaine Groffier Père et Fils.
· On to Vosne-Romanée for a show-stopping tasting at Domaine Guyon.
· Back to our hotel to relax and enjoy a quiet lunch.

· Our first afternoon tasting is the Meursault of Michel Bouzereau et Fils.
· We move on to Montrachet for a private tasting (as usual) at Domaine Jacques Prieur.
· Dinner at our hotel, showcasing the types of wines we’ve enjoyed today and their happy alliance with local cuisine.

Day 4

· We change hotels today, so your bags will be loaded into our transport while you take breakfast.
· We then take a short drive to Santenay to sample the classic whites at Louis Latour.
· Just a few minutes away at Rully, we taste the beautiful reds of Vincent Dureuil-Janthial.
· We lunch at the amazing Michelin three-starred restaurant Lameloise, the finest purveyor of traditional Burgundian fare in the world.
· In the afternoon we check in to our new hotel, the ravishing Château de Bagnols in the heart of the Beaujolais region. Time to relax.
· We dine at the château.

Day 5

· After breakfast we head for the Beaujolais region of Juliénas for our first tasting at Domaine des Mouilles.
· Then on to the area of Fleurie to sample the wines at Domaine Metrat et Fils.
· We lunch in simple, traditional style at the Faisan Dore in Villefranche-sur-Sâone with, of course, wines of the area.
· Our afternoon tasting is at the small town of Theize at the Domaine La Cruisille.
· Time to relax at our hotel before our grand farewell dinner, showcasing the wines we’ve tasted in perfect harmony with local cuisine.

Day 6

· After breakfast, we will escort you to Lyon airport or train station for your onward connections.
